Victorian Styled Urban Garden

Designed and built in 2014, our client in South Belfast wanted a garden that operated as a space to entertain and relax but to have the build quality to park a car on the paving when required. The overall look was to blend this newly built Victorian- style home with its steep, gabled roof, round angles, shapely bay windows and decorative brick work to reflect the use of 19th century traditional materials like granite cobble setts, sandstone flags and Irish limestone into the landscaping. We built bespoke curved steps from Irish limestone to reflect the brick arch detail over the windows and carried that through to the new wrought iron railings and double gate with arch, a slate stone masonry feature wall at the top of the garden is focal point. The wall is lit by footlights that highlight our artisan workmanship on the darkest of evenings.
